First updates for Way of St Francis 2nd Edition

It's always helpful to receive feedback. Here are some important edits shared by reader Peter Ormond.

It takes a village to make a great guidebook, and by that I mean how much I value edits sent in by readers. Here’s some very helpful info from purchaser Peter Ormond:

Thanks for the new edition to the guide for the Way of St Francis. I won’t admit to reading it cover to cover yet, but while researching accommodation options along the route, I have the following comments which I hope will be of use to you.

Stage 13 to Valdichiascio – On page 134, the email address for Eremo San Pietro Vigneto (ospedaleconfraternitasanjacopo@gmail.com) doesn’t exist. These are the details I have found out and used to good effect – sanpietroinvigneto@confraternitadisanjacopo.it / Mr. Silvio +393349450501. These new details are correct.-SB

Stage 14 to Valfabbrica – On page 139, the email address for Terra Media is missing the final ‘m’ on the ‘com’. Thanks – SB.

Stage 26 to Monte Sacro – On page 232, the email address to Casa Dino (dodinoruggiero@gmail.com) doesn’t exist. Thanks! The correct email is ruggierodino637@gmail.com.-SB

Stage 26 – One of the addresses I tried was full, but they gave me details of Augustine Nuns. Augustinian Sisters of Montesacro – casaperferiesantarita@gmail.com Via Nomentana, 514, 00141, Roma. Tel: +39 0686800016. I have booked to stay for a night on 4 July (a single room with a private toilet and it will cost you €42,00) and will update you. Thanks! – SB

Stage 27 to Vatican City – On page 241, the email address for Casa per Feria Santa Maria alle Fornaci (info@santamariafornaci.com) has bounced – no mailbox of that name. The correct email is info@santamariafornaci.it. – SB
